Meal Plan for Week of 9/25-10/1

This Week’s meal plan includes one large family dinner; it is my youngest baby brother’s birthday.  There really wasn't that big of sale big I will be taken of advantage of the Predue chicken sale, I never pay more than 2 a pound for meat. 

DINNER
Saturday: Chili with carrot sticks & cucumber slices, and corn muffins $8.75 serves 4
Family Sunday Dinner: Roasted chicken with mash potatoes and gravy, glazed carrots, corn, and biscuits $14 serves 6
Monday: Skillet Macaroni with Easy Cesar Salad $7.25 serves 3
Tuesday: Left-Over-Night $0
Wednesday: Slow Cooked Pacific Chicken with Lipton noodles and broccoli-n-cheese $5.50 serves 2
Thursday: Ham and Potato Casserole and a garden salad $5.5 serves 3 (will use some ham for breakfast)
Friday: Order In Pizza and Easy Cesar Salad $15 serves 5 (will use leftover pizza for lunch the next day)

LUNCH
Week Day: For Monkey: Grilled Cheese and apple slices $2.5 serves 4
Week Day: For Monkey: Mac–n-Cheese (made with sweet potato and squash) $2.5 serves 4
Week Day: For DH & Me: Deli sandwich on whole grain/wheat bread with spinach &V8 $20 serves 10
Saturday: Left over Pizza $0

BREAKFAST
Week Day: Pancakes (made with blueberry and mango puree)
Week Day: Oatmeal and Cereal (bought at Sam’s Club) with fruit
Saturday: Ham-n-Cheese Omelets
Sunday: Coffee Hour at church

SNACKS-n-SWEETS
HM (home made) Chocolate Birthday Cake
HM Candy Apples
HM  Apple Oatmeal Muffins
Chips
Pears

i give you major credit for doing a meal plan!! that is awesome..i wish i could get into the hang of that..ive tried a few times and it just never really happens..i may cook dinner like 3 times a week tops..i wish i could discipline myself and do this!! its just so hard when Pete doesnt really like a variety of different things..

Britt- Feel free to use my meal plan, which works along with what is on sale at our ShopRite during that week. I will try to post it by Wednesday and I will start posting the recipes too.

:) I love it. I am a huge fan of meal planning and staying on budget. It has taken me a few years and serious organizing but I spend $150 every 2 weeks on our food shopping, that includes our household items. Thats about $75 a week, and sometimes it is less depending on sales and coupons...I love those weeks!

every sunday i got to target and then to shoprite..to get the things we need..and thats anything to food..to diapers and clothes for Cheye..and i rarely ever spend more than 100 a week..im usually around 80 bucks a week..
i dont think thats too bad..
that sounds awesome Amanda..its nice getting ideas for dinner..but like i said its hard because there really isnt much Pete likes..
anyway i check your blog every couple of days..and the more i keep reading yours i think i may be joining soon! =)
